Joining A Therapy Group

We have a team of specialist therapists who work with clients experiencing relationship difficulties caused by adjusting to the many changes we experience throughout our lives.

Situations which typically put pressure on relationships include families, work and money to name a few!  If you feel that you and your partner have lost touch or are drifting apart, talking to a trained counsellor may just help you refocus on the things that are still important in your relationship. Read more about 1point’s Relationship Counselling services.

Contact Us to arrange an initial meeting with a counsellor to check if relationship counselling is right for you now.

“The purpose of couple counselling is not to know the answers or to tell you what to do.  The purpose is not to judge or criticise you or your relationship.  The purpose is to offer greater insight into your problems to help you understand the relationship and to help you communicate in that relationship.”

Good to know

This service is part of 1point’s suite of confidential and independently managed talking therapy support created to improve wellbeing and resilience across all our communities. These therapeutic services are available for people and organisations who would prefer to directly access support and do not need a referral from a GP or health care worker first.

Current funding allows us to offer most services free of charge to Bolton residents, but we welcome donations to help the 1point Network continue this valuable support. If you do not qualify for free therapy, we still may be able to help you access alternative support.
